The discussion of whether our Q1b haplogroup is of Khazarian roots or not rages on.

Well, this "idea" (I will say this fact) has never been rebunked, as mentioned.

Most recently spoken with top people within FTDNA and iGENEA (where professionals in the field already certified Q1b as main Khazarian marker to a growing number of people), confirmed that most recent researches of Jewish DNA just confirmed importance of rare Q1b signature as Khazar and Turk /Hun in source.

In opposite it mostly disaproved earlier claims that R1a1 is Khazarian haplotype. But, what else it has been proven? It has been finaly proven that conversion (only noted event of its kind in entire history) occured only among imperial family (as recorded in classical and formal sources), and that is why among "ordinary" Khazars in Hungary (actually you cannot even trace them (!), because "plain" Khazars "shared" DNA with subordinate tribes and nations in that area, as well as religion /Muslim or Christian in first place/ and Q1b as exotic and oriental in appearance arrived from collapsing Western Gok Turk Empire, as we read in sources)

You cannot find non-Jewish examples. All Q1b derive from Imperial Jewish Rulers of Khazaria /Quaghan,Ilhans,Beks/, and that was narrow and restricted circle (in maximum extent 4000 peoples as New Jewish Encyclopedia claims). Why we are all so alike, as also most recently discovered?Simple. Endogamy.

Altai Mountains Holds Key for Q1b's

WESTERN MONGOLIA
Siberia and parts of Turkey

The wilds of the Altai Mountains, Mongolia's highest range, form the rugged backdrop to this Kazakh populated area. Muslim culture and the practice of hunting with eagles contribute to the unique heritage of the region.

Altai Mountains
The Altai is Mongolia's highest mountain range, known in Bayan-Ulgii as 'the Roof of the World', where snow-capped peaks, torrents and glaciers form the backdrop to the indigenous practice of hunting with eagles. The remote rugged range spreads from the Russian border all the way down to Altai-Gobi province in the south.

There are tours to see these things. Check out: http://www.panoramicjourneys.com/pages2.php?pagelink=regionmong1&gclid=CJ-t1OjtjqMCFRxEgwodFghVUA

Origins of our Q1b Haplogroup Including Goldfoots

This is disappointing news for me as I have been thinking that we are from the royal house of Khazaria. We need to find a body labeled as a Jewish Khazarian of the royal house to test for dna. It is a logical conclusion, though.

There is no DNA information for the Khazarians yet available to corroborate this theory. A few years ago we thought the Khazarians were the source of our Q-ness. But now that we know we are Q1b there are better explanations for the source of our Q1b yDNA. Clearly there was a Khazarian conversion. Clearly they are good suspects for the source of some the the dna among Northern European Jewish people. (Stocky body, red hair, blue-green eyes.)

However, there is zero support for any conclusion that the Khazars were the source for our Q1b. In fact, it makes no sense at all. Nearly every European Q1b does have Jewish roots. Yet we know the Khazars in great numbers merged into the peoples who now live in Hungary. Yet there are no known Q1b’s who are non-Jewish Hungarians. This leads to the conclusion that the Khazars had nothing to do with Q1b.This does not mean you did not have Khazarian ancestors. It just means that Q1b is not proof of that connection.

Y dna'sQ1b and mt's W Information in Euope Origins website

Very little is revealed in this website about Q1b, our Goldfoot haplogroup. http://www.eupedia.com/europe/origins_haplogroups_europe.shtml#R1b. It's is good to check it out along with the others and see what they have mentioned, though.

For the female or Mt line of dna, our W line from grandmother Hattie Jermulowske originated 25,000 years ago in N. Europe or NW Asia.
